Style & scope
How would you define your style of photography?
We aim to capture your wedding story in an unobtrusive, candid manner. We want your wedding pictures & films to feel real, so that the natural magic of your story is preserved. And when your family from the next generation takes a look at this story, they get a true sense of who you are.
When it comes to your couple portraits, we will offer direction to make the output reflect your natural chemistry, without looking cheesy or gimmicky.
We also experiment a lot with in-camera techniques, reflective & refractive surfaces, light, perspectives, etc. We've been told that working with us is an interesting experience.
Do you guys do wedding films?
Are you willing to travel outside Mumbai for wedding and other assignments?
Yes, we love to travel. We have shot across India & abroad.
Do you do traditional videography and/or stage photography?
We have team members who specialise in traditional photo & video requirements.
How many weddings do you shoot in a year?
Since we personally handle EVERY aspect of our wedding photography & cinematic film output, we are only able to take up 25 weddings a year.
Do you do other assignments apart from weddings and portrait sessions?
Yes, you can write to us with details and we can send you the relevant commercial portfolio. We've worked in categories like food, product, real estate, interiors. We are always happy to collaborate on diverse projects.
What is your pricing?
For full day wedding photography AND cinematic film coverage by Sam, Ekta and two more team members, pricing starts at INR 2.3L. Charges for traditional photography & videography are extra and as per requirements.
Regular portrait sessions start at INR 35k.
No two weddings are alike, and your wedding photography and films could cost a little less or more depending on the scope of coverage. Customised packages available on request.
What are your payment terms?
Half to book.
Half on shoot.
What if one or more of my wedding functions goes on for a little longer than what we've discussed and aligned on?
We understand that weddings (Indian weddings especially) don't run exactly on schedule. We are definitely flexible on timings to a reasonable degree. Even if it gets a little too long, don't worry - we will always be around. Adjustments (if any required) to pricing will be balanced later - nothing should disturb a wedding.
Do you always work in a team of two? What if I need only one photographer, or a larger team?
Given our style of coverage, two photographers are important to do full justice to a wedding. When it comes to cinematic wedding films, two cinematographers are an absolute minimum. However, the team size can be increased based on your coverage expectations. We do not like to overwhelm a wedding with our team's presence, so we will suggest the optimum size when we understand more about your wedding.
What if I want to hire you only for photo or video only from my side of the family and the groom’s side is having a separate team?
We do not take up assignments where we have to work for one side (bride or groom) and another team is covering the 'other side'. We tried it a couple of times in the past, but we always experienced that the value we could have added got affected due to two reasons
- The bride and groom had to split their time (whatever limited time they did have) between two teams
- Since our team believes in an unobtrusive method of coverage, it is always difficult working with another team who believes otherwise
How soon will I get the pictures & cinematic films for my wedding?
Pictures take 6-8 weeks while wedding films take between 16-18 weeks from the date of shoot. The time in between is spent in carefully handcrafting (curating, processing, editing) the output and putting it together to tell your story in the best way possible.
How many photographs will we receive?
We do not come with any click limit in our mind, but a rough estimate would be between 500-1000 pictures for a full day.
Is there anything I can do to help you make awesome pictures & videos for my wedding?
Good, clean lighting.
Make time for portraits when you're fresh & looking your best.
