Who We Are

We are Sam & Ekta - husband and wife, and parents to a beautiful yellow Labrador - Crusoe. We are destination wedding photographers & filmmakers currently living in Mumbai, India. We love travel, dogs & ice cream.

We believe that real moments have the extraordinary power to carry the legacy of your wedding story across generations. And so we have chosen to live our lives pursuing these moments, and capturing them in a pure, honest manner through our award winning wedding photography & films.

We consider ourselves really fortunate that brides and grooms across the world have invited, and continue to invite us for the most important days of their lives.

Our Style and Approach

We believe that real moments have the extraordinary power to carry the legacy of a couple across generations, and our style is about looking for those moments of truth and capturing them in an honest manner. We try to be as unobtrusive as possible and approach weddings like observers, similar to how we approach our street photography & documentary filmmaking work, some which can be seen here.

We are constantly experimenting with a mix of photojournalism, portraiture and documentary filmmaking, while adding our own twist which comes from who we are as people, and the things we notice as photographers & filmmakers.

While we have the same creative vision, we see things very differently and thus we always shoot together - our approaches compliment each other and help in weaving a complete story. One of us is always with the bride & the other with the groom leading our respective team members - so we are able to do full justice in documenting the parallel stories happening across both families.

To sum up, we want your wedding pictures & films to feel real, so that the natural magic of your story is preserved. And when your family from the next generation takes a look at this story, they get a true sense of who you are and what happened on your big day.
