“We are going to Cannes”, we said to ourselves. And we still couldn’t believe it.
You see, there are a few places in the world that mean much more to you than just being a point on a map - I’m sure each one of us has a few of those. Cannes, to us, means something. And we had the opportunity, fortune, luck & honour to document the wedding of Radhika & Yasho there - two incredible human beings we have been so fortunate to get to know better, as we went about clicking away, as they said their vows in the South of France.
While all of us stayed at The Martinez, the venues were diverse - there was a bunch of stuff at the Martinez, and the La Plage de Martinez (the private beach of the property), the sangeet was a red carpet event at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres of Cannes - the actual place which hosts the Cannes film festival, and the wedding was at a beautiful Chateau that overlooked the sea. It was like being in a dream, with a camera. And we are so incredibly thankful.
As always, we worked alongside some of the best professionals from the industry. And as always, it was an honour.
